Mission Statement

To provide nutritionally balanced, tasteful, eye-appealing meals in a fiscally responsible way that positively impacts the health and well-being of the students of Wadsworth City Schools.

A few pointers to help you navigate the menu:

  • To better promote healthy habits, a student must take a fruit or vegetable in order to be a lunch. Please help encourage your student to choose both fruits and vegetables daily.
  • Additionally, all of our grain selections are now whole grains to help your child grow.
  • For your convenience, the menu includes all payment and contact information.
All menus are posted online. Additionally, the monthly menu will be posted in your child's classroom and cafeteria. Students submit their choice of entree during the morning in the classroom at the elementary level. Please help your student learn their student ID number, this is what they use in the lunch line.

Healthy Hunger-Free Kids

Look for more healthy and nutritious selections to be offered this year at all buildings.  Please view the summary provided under Nutrition for more information.
Highlights of Healthy Hunger-Free Kids are:
  • 1/2 or more of all grains served will be whole grains
  • Every meal must have a fruit or vegetable on the student tray
