Hello and welcome to the new school year! My name is Ashley Krantz, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new President of Isham Elementary’s Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO).
The PTO plays a vital role in supporting our school community — from organizing fun events and fundraisers to providing resources that enhance our children’s learning experiences. Our goal is to foster a positive partnership between families, teachers, and staff to make this school year enjoyable and successful for every student.
This year, the PTO Board has created an exciting calendar full of events (a mix of new and some classic favorites), spirit weeks, morale boosters, and fundraisers to serve Isham. We have set a goal to enhance the utilization of the courtyard and to introduce and expand after-school clubs for students (Sign Language Club, cultural clubs, and hobby clubs). If you would like to help set a club up, we would love to hear all ideas to make this venture successful!
Membership is again just $5.00 to join the PTO. New this year, we have created Membership “Perk Add-On Packages” for those interested in further sponsorship. We appreciate every member. Please remember that membership is not limited to only parents, but the PTO represents the community of those who impact our children, grandparents, neighbors, and friends.
As said by Helen Keller, “alone we can do little; together we can do so much.” I invite you to get involved! Whether you have a little time to volunteer, ideas to share, or simply want to stay informed, there are many ways to be part of the PTO. Together, we can build a strong, supportive community that benefits our kids both inside and outside the classroom.
Member or not, please know that your ideas, feedback, and collaboration are always welcome. We want to work alongside you to create a positive, vibrant community where students thrive. I would love to hear your thoughts and learn how our PTO can best assist you.
